Despite covering about 70% of the Earth's surface, water, especially drinking water, is not as plentiful as one might think. Only 3% of it is fresh.

 

At Enviro-Cool we find it unacceptable so much water is used & wasted chilling beverages when;

In spite of these appalling facts the majority of the world’s population continues to consume water as if it was in endless supply. This is not the case, it is estimated that by 2025 60% of the world will not have an adequate water supply. This is not just a problem for the third world, places like California and Sydney are experiencing acute water shortages.

Currently there is a standard practise in the global hospitality industry is to use a small bucket containing ice and water (Usually 1 litre of water and 1 kg of ice) to chill beverages, most commonly a single bottle of wine.
